Nova for Windows can announce rise
(AOS), Time of Closest Approach (TCA), and set (LOS) for
satellites using your computer's sound card. AOS and LOS settings are independent in
their content and time before the event. In addition, you can separately configure
the announcement noise, the satellite's name, and whether the words "is rising"
are appended to the announcement. All sounds are contained in easily-edited WAV
files so you can customize the sound alarms freely.
