Moon-Net uses "Topics" to help its subscribers filter messages from the
reflector. The Topic will be shown on the Subject line of the message when the
Moon-Net system distributes it.
It is useful to many subscribers that you indicate the
correct Topic in the Subject line of your
messages posted to
Moon-Net.
Please help Moon-Net serve the entire EME community - use Topics
At present, there are six topics:
| Topic | deals with... |
|---|---|
| VHF | EME on 50, 144, and 222 MHz |
| UHF | EME on 432 MHz and above |
| WTB | "Want to buy" messages |
| FS | "For sale" messages |
| OTHER | All messages without a valid Topic |
| ALL | All subscribers to Moon-Net. |
DO NOT use more than one Topic
To indicate the Topic, simply state the Topic in the subject line of your message, followed by a colon.
Examples

If your message is about contest results on 144 MHz, the subject line of your message could read VHF: Wow! 3,000 QSO's!

If you wanted to sell your preamp, the subject line would read FS: Zero noise figure preamp. This message would go to everyone who has chosen to receive FS messages, but VHF-only or UHF-only subscribers would not receive it.

ALL: Moon purchased by Microsoft would go to all EMEers subscribed to Moon-Net.
