Three steps are required to display Mode and Squint information in Nova.
Step 1: Enter ALAT and ALON information.
From the Main Menu, select Setup, then Satellites;
Select the satellite be clicking on it;
In the lower left of the window, enter the appropriate ALat/ALon. Make sure that you put the correct value in the correct spot.
Note: Enter the published values. You do not have to add or subtract anything to "correct" the calculations as necessary for some older satellite tracking programs.
Step 2: Tell Nova what kind of calculations to make
While still in Setup/Satellites, click on the Sched button;
In the Satellite Mode Schedule window, enter the appropriate range of MA values and select the correct calculation method.
Step 3: Enable Squint text data display line
In the Individual View Configuration screen for the View, click on the Text tab;
Click on the check boxes for MA and/or Squint angle so that they will be displayed in the text output of the View.
